Tropical Storm Andrea made landfall around 5:45pm Thursday evening along the Florida Big Bend, with maximum sustained winds of 65mph.
In the 5pm update on Thurdsay, the National Hurricane Center says the storm will make landfall in the Big Bend region shortly, and is moving at 17mph with maximum sustained winds of 65mph.
The storm should weaken once it makes landfall, and it should lose it's tropical characteristics be Saturday as it moves through the eastern United States.
